SYNOPSIS
In 2010, Iran’s regime officially banned the mullet hairstyle. Inspired by true events, The Last Mullet, starring Bobby Naderi, is a dark comedy about a spirited Iranian man with a mischievous streak of “party in the back” — who finds his most prized possession, his mullet, outlawed. With the regime cracking down on Western hairstyles, he must decide whether to cut the mullet that’s become his identity or risk becoming an enemy of the state.
